I'm a morning person and love getting loads done before the day's officially begun (don't expect much from me after around 7pm though!). So it suits me to wake early, make the coffee and settle into my favourite chair to spend a short time reading the Bible and praying each day. However, I wake up "fully awake" (very annoying for my family!) and thinking about the day ahead. So I find the early morning is also a great time to get a load of washing on; write emails; send texts; sort washing; and do endless other "jobs".

When I read this C S Lewis quote I identified with the "all your wishes and hopes for the day rush at you like wild animals" and I though…
